Edfu temple
Edfu Temple is located halfway between Luxor and Aswan (120 km south of Luxor). It is one of the most impressive buildings of the Ptolemaic dynasty. It is dedicated to the god Horus. Its gigantic walls covered with giant hieroglyphics and elegant friezes. Its design and architecture correspond to a precise pharaonic tradition with regard to its plan or its hall ornaments.
The temple of com Ombo
Kom Ombo Temple is located 195 km south of Luxor and 45 km north of Aswan on the east bank of the Nile. A temple overlooking the Nile. The only temple dedicated to two different deities, the gods HORUS (falcon) and the gods SOBEK (crocodile). It is famous for its famous frescoes, such as the one representing a calendar of the time and the one showing the surgical instruments used at the time.
