The opinion of Charm Egypt: It is a one-day getaway, from Safaga, Hurghada or El-Gouna, to visit the historical jewels of Cairo:
The flagship site of the pyramids of Giza, especially the great pyramid which is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world by its gigantic dimensions and the ingenuity of its architecture.
The Egyptian Museum which contains the most beautiful masterpieces of Pharaonic art and immerse yourself in the colors and smells of medieval Cairo by strolling through the famous Souk of Khan El-Khalili.
The somewhat long journey, around 6 hours, allows you to follow the coast of the Red Sea with its crystal clear water and its picturesque landscape alternating between mountains and sand dunes.
Please note that all the services are privatized: guide and private vehicle all to you which allows a day at your own pace.
Early departure from your hotel in (Safaga, Hurghada or El-Gouna) around 2am and take the road to Cairo, a journey of around 6 hours.
On arrival in Cairo, the day of visits to emblematic sites of Cairo begins:
The Giza Plateau: the emblematic site of Pharaonic Egypt which contains the three famous pyramids: Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos as well as the temple of the valley and the famous Sphinx: which is a gigantic artistic work, carved in stone, at the image of a lying lion's body with a human head.

Visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo: An imposing monument in the neoclassical style, located on the famous Tahrir Square in the city center, perfectly suited to its exquisite collections. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo opened its doors to the public in 1902. It has since been greatly enlarged and enriched, to become the most important museum of Egyptian art in the world. It contains thousands and thousands of artistic masterpieces, approximately 150,000 pieces, spanning over 3,000 years of Egyptian history.
Walk in the medieval Islamic quarter, especially the famous Souk of Khan El-Khalili , founded in the 13th century AD . IT is a maze of small streets bustling day and night, appealing to the senses with a mixture of images, sounds, scents and colors. Khan El-Khalili is the oldest bazaar in the world which continues its activities until today.
At the end of the day, take the road back.

The Saladin Citadel : It is part of the medieval heritage of Cairo, built in the 12th century AD. It is on a height overlooking all of Cairo. This gigantic building was the seat of power until the 19th century. The Saladin Citadel houses palaces, military barracks, gigantic ramparts with a very ingenious architectural style and also superb mosques especially that of Mohamed Ali, built entirely of alabaster
Khan El-Khalili Bazaar : We will continue into the heart of medieval Cairo, venturing into the oldest market in the Middle East, founded in the 14th century AD, which continues its activities to this day. The Khan El-Khalili souk is a labyrinth of small alleys that are lively day and night, with an atmosphere that engages the senses with a clever mix of sights, sounds, colors, and scents.
At the end of the day, we will take the return journey (El-Gouna, Hurghada or Safaga)
