Board your traditional Felucca in Aswan.

After lunch on board, begin your peaceful journey along the Nile, sailing to the gentle rhythm of the northern breeze filling the sails of your charming Felucca.

Enjoy the enchanting scenery of the Nile’s banks as you drift with the current. Keep your eyes wide open and witness the timeless daily life of the local villagers who have lived along the river for generations.

Felucca Cruise on the Nile

Breakfast on board, followed by a leisurely walk through Koubaniya, a typical Upper Egyptian village. The village is bordered by a picturesque wadi stretching towards the desert and offers beautiful panoramic views from the surrounding hills.

Return to the Felucca and continue sailing along the Nile.

Lunch will be served on board.

Stop at Herbiab Island, renowned for its beautiful sandy beach, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim in the sacred waters of the Nile.

You can also take a pleasant stroll through the island’s lush orchards filled with mango, orange, fig, and lemon trees.

Continue sailing through the Nile’s captivating landscapes on the way to Daraw.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Breakfast on board, followed by a visit to Daraw, located approximately 40 km north of Aswan.

Discover this authentic Upper Egyptian town and immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere while meeting local residents. Stroll through the bustling Daraw Market, where the vibrant colors and exotic aromas of Africa and the Orient create an unforgettable sensory experience.

Depending on the day of your visit, you may also have the opportunity to explore the famous Camel Market or the local Livestock Market.

Return to the boat and continue sailing towards Kom Ombo.

Kom Ombo Temple

Upon arrival, visit the elegant Greco-Roman Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile-headed god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Overlooking the Nile, this remarkable temple is renowned for its symmetrical design and fascinating reliefs.

After the visit, enjoy a short sail to Meniha Island, where the boat will anchor for the night.

Breakfast on board, followed by a pleasant walk through the fruit orchards of Meniha Island. If you wish, you may also enjoy the sandy beach and take a refreshing swim in the waters of the Nile.

The Felucca then continues sailing towards the village of Fares. Upon arrival, enjoy a walk through this traditional village, offering a wonderful opportunity to meet local farmers and gain insight into their daily life and customs.

Continue sailing to Gebel El Silsila, one of the most important quarry sites of ancient Egypt.

A short walk will lead you to the famous Pharaonic sandstone quarries, which supplied stone for many of Egypt’s greatest temples. You will also discover the site's remarkable rock-cut chapels, carved stelae, and the impressive Speos of King Horemheb, a temple carved directly into the cliff face.

Edfu Temple

After breakfast, you will say goodbye to the felucca and its crew and begin your journey to discover the Temple of Edfu.

This temple, one of the largest and best-preserved monuments from the Ptolemaic period (2nd century BC), is dedicated to the god Horus. Its monumental walls are entirely covered with giant hieroglyphs and fascinating friezes, reflecting the spiritual and artistic richness of Ancient Egypt.

After the visit, continue by road to Luxor (approximately 110 km)
