the temple of luxor: Started by Amenhotep3 and completed by Ramses2 and many other pharaohs. It best represents the schematic plan of an Egyptian temple with its elegant path of the Sphinxes. Its gigantic facade once preceded by two magnificent obelisks; one is still there and the other has been on the Place de la Concorde in Paris since 1834...!

The Archaeological Museum of Luxor : This museum brings together collections from excavations carried out in Luxor and its surroundings. It presents a real panorama of middle and new pharaonic empire. The realism of the features and postures of certain statues underlines the transition from classicism to expressionism in Egyptian statuary.

Felucca trip on the Nile and walk in the banana island : Sailing on the mystical river, the Nile, in a felucca (a small wooden boat, equipped with a lateen sail, pushed by the wind) is a pleasure for the eyes and soothing to the mind. You will admire the landscape of the two banks of the Nile in complete tranquility and you will visit the island of bananas , a vast expanse of banana trees, orange trees, lemon trees... it is a real haven of peace!
